THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 1387 Title Resolution approving the site plan for Public School 58-Queens (P.S. 58-Q) to be located at Grand Avenue/72nd Place (Block 2802, Lots 1, 82, 90, 94, 96 and 97), Queens (Non-ULURP No. 20005126 SCQ; L.U. No. 770). Body By Council Members Eisland and Sabini WHEREAS, the New York City School Construction Authority submitted to the Council on May 11, 2000, a site plan pursuant to Section 1732 of the New York State Public Authorities Law for P.S. 58-Q, an elementary school facility with a capacity of up to 900 seats, to be located at Grand Avenue/72nd Place (Block 2802, Lots 1, 82, 90, 94, 96 and 97), in Community School District 24, Borough of Queens (the "Site Plan"); WHEREAS, the Site Plan is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 1732 of the New York State Public Authorities Law; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Site Plan on May 16 and recessed until May 18, 2000; WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the Conditional Negative Declaration issued March 24, 2000 (SCA Project Number 00-007); and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Site Plan; RESOLVED: The Council finds that the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment; and ______________ Page 2 of 2 20005126 SCQ Reso.
