THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 1380 Title Resolution affirming the designation by the Landmarks Preservation Commission of the St. George's (Episcopal) Church, Old Parish House and Graveyard, located at 38-02 Main Street (Block 4975, Lot 1 in part), downtown Flushing, Queens, Designation List No. 311, LP-2053 (L.U. No. 706; 20005238 HKQ; N 000397 HKQ). Body By Council Members Eisland and Sabini WHEREAS, the Landmarks Preservation Commission filed with the Council on February 16, 2000 a copy of its designation dated February 8, 2000 (the "Designation"), of the St. George's (Episcopal) Church, Old Parish House and Graveyard, located at 38-02 Main Street, Borough of Queens, as a landmark and Block 4975, Lot 1 in part, as its landmark site pursuant to Section 3020 of the New York City Charter; WHEREAS, the Designation is subject to review by the Council pursuant to Section 3020 of the City Charter; WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission submitted to the Council on April 12, 2000, its report on the Designation dated April 5, 2000 (the "Report"); WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Designation on May 16, 2000 and recessed until May 18, 2000; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Designation; RESOLVED: Pursuant to Section 3020 of the City Charter, and on the basis of the information and materials contained in the Designation and the Report, the Council affirms the Designation.
