THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 1329 Title Resolution approving the site plan for Public School 234-Queens to be located at 30-25 29th Street (Block 592, Lot 15), Queens (Non-ULURP No. 19995034 SCQ; L.U. No. 733). Body By Council Members Eisland and Sabini WHEREAS, the New York City School Construction Authority submitted to the Council on April 12, 2000, a site plan pursuant to Section 1732 of the New York State Public Authorities Law for an approximate 900 seat elementary school facility, known as Public School 234-Queens, to be located at 30-25 29th Street (Block 592, Lot 15), Astoria, Borough of Queens (the "Site Plan"); WHEREAS, the Site Plan is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 1732 of the New York State Public Authorities Law; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Site Plan on April 17, 2000; WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the revised Conditional Negative Declaration issued on March 3, 2000 (SCA Project Number 99-002A); and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Site Plan; RESOLVED: The Council finds that the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment; and Pursuant to Section 1732 of the Public Authorities Law, the Council approves the Site Plan. ______________ Page 2 of 2 19995034 SCQ Reso.
