THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 1199 Title Resolution approving with modification the decision of the City Planning Commission on ULURP No. C 990345 PQK (L.U. No. 620), an acquisition of property located at 741 Flushing Avenue, Brooklyn, for continued use as a senior center and a day care center. Body By Council Members Eisland and Sabini WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on December 2, 1999 its decision dated November 24, 1999 (the "Decision") on the application submitted pursuant to Section 197-c of the New York City Charter by the Department for the Aging and the Department of Citywide Administrative Services for an acquisition of property located at 741 Flushing Avenue (Block 2276, Lot 37), Borough of Brooklyn (the "Site"), for continued use as a senior center and a day care center (ULURP No. C 990345 PQK) (the "Application"); WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(2) and (3) of the City Charter; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Decision and Application on January 10, 2000; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Decision and Application; RESOLVED: Pursuant to Section 197-d of the City Charter and on the basis of the Application and Decision, the Council approves the Decision with the following modification: The acquisition shall be by lease, with a term of not more than five (5) years.
