THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 1114 Title Resolution approving the decision of the City Planning Commission on ULURP No. C 000020 PQQ (L.U. No. 600), an acquisition of property located on the east side of 36th Street, between 34th and 35th Avenues (Block 644, Lots 15, 17, 43 and 49), Queens, to expand studio and production facilities. Body By Council Members Eisland and Sabini WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on November 12, 1999 its decision dated November 10, 1999 (the "Decision") on the application submitted pursuant to Section 197-c of the New York City Charter by the Department of Citywide Administrative Services and the Economic Development Corporation, for an acquisition of property located on the east side of 36th Street, between 34th and 35th Avenues (Block 644, Lots 15, 17, 43 and 49), Borough of Queens (the "Site"), to expand studio and production facilities (ULURP No. C 000020 PQQ) (the "Application"); WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(2) and (3) of the City Charter; WHEREAS, the Application is related to ULURP No. C 000021 PPQ (L.U. No. 601), a disposition of city-owned properties; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Decision and Application on December 1, 1999; WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the Negative Declaration which was issued on July 8, 1999 (CEQR No. 99DME088Q); WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Decision and Application; and RESOLVED: The Council finds that the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment; ____________ Page 2 of 2 pages C 000020 PQQ Reso.
