THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 1052 Title Resolution approving the decision of the City Planning Commission on ULURP No. C 990614 ZMM, a Zoning Map Change (L.U. No. 467). Body By Council Members Eisland and McCaffrey WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on October 5, 1999 its decision dated October 4, 1999 (the "Decision"), on the application submitted by the Department of Housing Preservation and Development, pursuant to Sections 197-c and 201 of the New York City Charter, for an amendment to the Zoning Map (ULURP No. C 9900614 ZMM) (the "Application"); WHEREAS, the Application is related to ULURP Application no. C 990615 HDM (L.U. No. 468), a disposition of property; WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(1) of the City Charter; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Decision and Application on October 19, 1999; WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Decision and Application; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the Negative Declaration, issued on August 21, 1995 (CEQR No. 95HPD001M); RESOLVED: The Council finds that the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment. ____________ Page 2 of 2 pages C 990614 ZMM Reso. The Zoning Resolution of the City of New York, effective as of December 15, 1961, and as subsequently amended, is further amended by changing the Zoning Map, Section No. 8c, changing from an R9 District to a C2-7 District property bounded by West 55th Street, Tenth Avenue, West 54th Street, and a line 150 feet west of Tenth Avenue, within the Special Clinton District, as shown on a diagram (for illustrative purposes only) dated May 17, 1999.
