RESOLUTION NO. 2013
 
 
Resolution approving the decision of the City Planning Commission on ULURP No. C 130162 PQK (L.U. No. 938), for the acquisition of property located at 600 Hart Street (Block 3227, Lot 10), for continued use as a child care center in Community District 4, Borough of Brooklyn.

      WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on September 13, 2013 its decision dated September 11, 2013 (the "Decision") on the application submitted pursuant to Section 197-c of the New York City Charter by the Administration for Children's Services (ACS) and the Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS), for the acquisition of property located at 600 Hart Street (Block 3227, Lot 10) (the "Site"), Community District 4, (ULURP No. C 130162 PQK), Borough of Brooklyn, for continued use as a child care center (the "Application");
 
      WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(3) of the City Charter;
 
           WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Decision and Application on October 2, 2013;
 
      WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Decision and Application;
 
      WHEREAS, this application was determined to be a Type II action which requires no further environmental review;
 
RESOLVED:
 
The Council finds that the action described herein would have no significant impact on the environment since it was determined to be a Type II action.
 
      Pursuant to Section 197-d of the City Charter and on the basis of the Decision and Application, and based on the environmental determination and consideration described in this report, C 130162 PQK, incorporated by reference herein, the Council approves the Decision.
