THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 1258 Title Resolution approving the site plan for I.S. 137-Queens, an intermediate school, to be located at 109-01 98th Street, Queens (Non-ULURP No. 20005219 SCQ; L.U. No. 674). Body By Council Members Eisland and Sabini WHEREAS, the New York City School Construction Authority submitted to the Council on February 3, 2000, a site plan pursuant to Section 1732 of the New York State Public Authorities Law for a public school facility known as I.S. 137-Queens, an intermediate school serving sixth through eighth grades, with a capacity of up to 1,700 seats for Community School District 10 to be located at 109-01 98th Street (Block 9176, Lots 100 and 130; and Block 9172, Lots 85 (portion) and 150 portion), Borough of Queens (the "Site Plan"); WHEREAS, the Site Plan is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 1732 of the New York State Public Authorities Law; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Site Plan on March 8, 2000, recessed until March 9, 2000; WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the Conditional Negative Declaration issued on February 2, 2000 (SCA Project Number 00-003); and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Site Plan; RESOLVED: The Council finds that the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment; and _____________ Page 2 of 2 20005219 SCQ Reso.
