RESOLUTION NO. 2104
Title
Resolution approving the decision of the City Planning Commission on ULURP No. C 010026 MMK, an amendment to the City Map (L.U. No. 1189).

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on August 29, 2001, its decision dated August 22, 2001 (the "Decision"), on the application submitted by Triangle Equities Development, LLC and the New York City Economic Development Corporation, pursuant to Sections 197-c and 199 of the New York City Charter and Section 5-430 et seq. of the New York City Administrative Code for an amendment to the City Map involving the elimination, discontinuance and closing of a public place, generally located south of Avenue H, between Nostrand and Flatbush Avenues, the adjustment of grades necessitated thereby, and any acquisition or disposition of real property related thereto, Community District 14, Borough of Brooklyn, in accordance with Map No. X-2647, dated December 21, 2000 and Map No. X- 2649, dated March 30, 2001, and signed by the Borough President (ULURP No. C 010026 MMK) (the "Application");
WHEREAS, the Application is related to ULURP Application Numbers C 010484 ZSK (L.U. No. 1187), a special permit pursuant to Section 74-52 of the Zoning Resolution; C 010486 ZSK (L.U. No. 1188), a special permit pursuant to Section 74-681(a)(1) of the Zoning Resolution; and C 010483 ZMK (L.U. No. 1190), an amendment to the Zoning Map;
WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(3) of the City Charter;
WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Decision and Application on October 25, 2001;
WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Decision and Application; and
WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the Negative Declaration, issued on March 23, 2001 (CEQR No. 01DME002K);

RESOLVED:
The Council finds the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment.
Pursuant to Sections 197-d and 199 of the New York City Charter, the Council approves the Decision.
