THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 1190 Title Resolution approving the decision of the City Planning Commission on ULURP No. C 960284 MMR, an amendment to the City Map (L.U. No. 549). Body By Council Members Eisland and McCaffrey WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on December 23, 1999, its decision dated December 22, 1999 (the "Decision"), on the application submitted by 22-50 Jackson Avenue Associates, L.P. pursuant to Sections 197-c and 199 of the New York City Charter, for a change in the City Map involving, ? the elimination of Rensselaer Avenue between Maguire and Warner Avenues; ? the elimination of Sinclair Avenue between Maguire and Warner Avenues; ? the elimination of Warner Avenue between Ramona Avenue and Anthony Street; ? the elimination of a portion of Convent Avenue between Ramona Avenue and Anthony Street; ? the establishment of a turnaround in Convent Avenue; ? the modification of grades related thereto; ? the delineation of and extinguishment of sewer easements shown for information purposes only; ? and any acquisition or disposition of real property related thereto; Community District 3, Borough of Staten Island, in accordance with Map No. 4123, dated March 31, 1997 (amended) and signed by the Borough President (ULURP No. C 960284 MMR) (the "Application"); WHEREAS, the Application is related to Application numbers N 960286 ZRR (L.U. No. 545), an amendment to the text of the Zoning Resolution; C 980617 ZSR (L.U. No. 546), a special permit pursuant to Section 74-732 of the Zoning Resolution for a private sewage pumping station; C 960285 ZSR (L.U. No. 547), a special permit pursuant to Section 107-76 of the Zoning Resolution for boundary adjustment of designated open space; and C 990685 ZSR (L.U. No. 549) WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(3) of the City Charter; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Decision and Application on January 27, 2000; WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Decision and Application; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the Negative Declaration, issued on July 19, 1999 (CEQR No. 96DCP042R); RESOLVED: The Council finds the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment. Pursuant to Sections 197-d and 199 of the New York City Charter, the Council approves the Decision. Adopted.
