THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 477 Title Resolution approving the use of certain land in Holy Cross Cemetery for burial purposes (20035023 CCK; L.U. No. 229). Body By Council Members Katz and Felder WHEREAS, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn, filed with the Council on August 7, 2002 a request to use certain lands located within Holy Cross Cemetery for burial purposes, a description of which is attached hereto (the "Use"); WHEREAS, the Use is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 451 of the New York State Real Property Law; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Use on September 5, 2002; WHEREAS, the Council has considered policy issues relating to the Use; RESOLVED: Pursuant to Section 451 of the Real Property Law, the Council approves the Use of certain lands in Holy Cross Cemetery for burial purposes, a description of which is attached hereto.
