Title
Resolution approving the site plan for Public School 263-Q, to be located at 222-22 and 222-40 Jamaica Avenue, Queens (Non-ULURP No. 20015119 SCQ; L.U. No. 991).

WHEREAS, the New York City School Construction Authority submitted to the Council on March 2, 2001, a site plan pursuant to Section 1732 of the New York State Public Authorities Law for a public school facility known as P.S. 263-Q, with a capacity of 704 seats to serve pre-kindergarten through fifth grades, Community School District 29, to be located at 222-22 and 222-40 Jamaica Avenue (Block 10813/Lots 5 and 15), Borough of Queens (the "Site Plan");
WHEREAS, the Site Plan is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 1732 of the New York State Public Authorities Law;
WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Site Plan on March 6, 2001;
WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the Conditional Negative Declaration issued January 12, 2001 (SCA Project Number 01-005); and
WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Site Plan;
RESOLVED:
The Council finds that the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment; and
