THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 1388 Title Resolution approving the site plan for Public School 222-Queens (P.S. 222-Q) to be located at 86-15 37th Avenue (Block 1460, Lot 34), Queens (Non-ULURP No. 20005375 SCQ; L.U. No. 771). Body By Council Members Eisland and Sabini WHEREAS, the New York City School Construction Authority submitted to the Council on May 11, 2000, a site plan pursuant to Section 1732 of the New York State Public Authorities Law for a public school facility known as P.S. 222-Q, with a capacity of up to 400 seats to be located at 86-15 37th Avenue (Block 1460, Lot 34), in Community School District 30, Borough of Queens (the "Site Plan"); WHEREAS, the Site Plan is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 1732 of the New York State Public Authorities Law; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Site Plan on May 16 and recessed until May 18, 2000; WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the Negative Declaration issued on March 31, 2000 (SCA Project Number 00-008); and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Site Plan; RESOLVED: The Council finds that the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment; and ______________ Page 2 of 2 20005375 SCQ Reso.
