THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 2111 Title Resolution approving the decision of the City Planning Commission on ULURP No. C 010098 MMM, an amendment to the City Map (L.U. No. 1207). Body By Council Members Eisland and Sabini WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on October 9, 2001 its decision dated September 25, 2001 (the "Decision"), on the application submitted by the Department of Sanitation and the Department of Citywide Administrative Services pursuant to Sections 197-c and 199 of the New York City Charter and Section 5-430 et seq. of the New York City Administrative Code for an amendment to the City Map involving the elimination, discontinuance and closing and the establishment of volumes of portions of West 56th Street, the adjustment of legal grades necessitated thereby and any acquisition or disposition of real property related thereto, Community District 4, Borough of Manhattan, in accordance with Map Acc. No. 30209 dated March 5, 2001 and signed by the Borough President (ULURP No. C 010098 MMM) (the "Application"); WHEREAS, the Application are related to Applications Number C 000354 ZMM (L.U. No. 705), an amendment to the Zoning Map; C 000353 PCM (L.U. No. 1208), site selection and acquisition of property; and C 000355 ZSM/C 000356 ZSM (L.U. Nos. 1209 and 1210), grant of special permits pursuant to Sections 74-743 and 74-746 of the Zoning Resolution; WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(3) of the City Charter; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Decision and Application on October 24, 2001; WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Decision and Application; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the Negative Declaration, issued on September 20, 2000 (CEQR No. 00DOS005M); RESOLVED: ______ Page 2 of 2 C 010098 MMM Reso.
