THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 1629 Title Resolution approving the site plan for Public School 239-Queens (P. S. 239-Q) to be located at 1715 Weirfield Street, Ridgewood, Queens (Non-ULURP No. 20005416 SCQ; L.U. No. 916). Body By Council Members Eisland and Sabini WHEREAS, the New York City School Construction Authority submitted to the Council on November 9, 2000, a site plan pursuant to Section 1732 of the New York State Public Authorities Law for a 704 seat elementary school facility, known as Public School 239-Queens (P.S. 239-Q) to serve Community School District 24, to be located at 1715 Weirfield Street, Ridgewood (Block 3651, Lot 1), Borough of Queens (the "Site Plan"); WHEREAS, the Site Plan is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 1732 of the New York State Public Authorities Law; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Site Plan on November 13, 2000; WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the Negative Declaration issued October 10, 2000 (SCA Project Number 00-020); and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Site Plan; RESOLVED: The Council finds that the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment; and ______________ Page 2 of 2 20005416 SCQ Reso.
