THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 2105 Title Resolution approving the decision of the City Planning Commission on ULURP No. C 010483 ZMK, a Zoning Map change (L.U. No. 1190). Body By Council Members Eisland and McCaffrey WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on August 29, 2001 its decision dated August 22, 2001 (the "Decision"), on the application submitted by Triangle Equities Development Company, LLC and the Economic Development Corporation, pursuant to Sections 197-c and 201 of the New York City Charter, for an amendment to the Zoning Map (ULURP No. C 010483 ZMK) (the "Application"); WHEREAS, the Application is related to ULURP Application Numbers C 010484 ZSK (L.U. No. 1187), a special permit pursuant to Section 74-52 of the Zoning Resolution; C 010486 ZSK (L.U. No. 1188), a special permit pursuant to Section 74-681(a)(1) of the Zoning Resolution; C 010026 MMK (L.U. No. 1189), an amendment to the City Map; WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(1) of the City Charter; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Decision and Application on October 25, 2001; WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Decision and Application; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the Negative Declaration, issued on March 23, 2001 (CEQR No. 01DME002K); __________ Page 2 of 2 C 010483 ZMK Reso. No. 2105 (L.U. No. 1190) RESOLVED: The Council finds that the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment. Pursuant to Sections 197-d and 200 of the City Charter and on the basis of the Decision and Application, the Council approves the Decision. The Zoning Resolution of the City of New York, effective as of December 15, 1961, and as subsequently amended, is further amended by changing the Zoning Map, Section No. 23a, changing from a C8-2 District to a C8-4 District property bounded by Avenue H, Flatbush Avenue, the former southerly line of a public place and its easterly and westerly prolongations, and Nostrand Avenue, as shown on a diagram (for illustrative purposes only) dated March 26, 2001.
