Resolution approving the decision of the City Planning Commission on ULURP No. C 020035 PSQ (L.U. No. 337), site selection of property located north of Almeda Avenue between Conch Basin and Sommerville Basin (Block 15980, p/o Lot 2), Queens, for use as a garage.

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on December 10, 2002 its decision dated December 4, 2002 (the "Decision") on the application submitted pursuant to Section 197-c of the New York City Charter by the Department of Sanitation and the Department of Citywide Administrative Services for site selection of property located north of Almeda Avenue between Conch Basin and Sommerville Basin (Block 15980, p/o Lot 2), Community District 14, Borough of Queens (the "Site"), for use as a garage (ULURP No. C 020035 PSQ) (the "Application");
WHEREAS, the Application is related to ULURP Applications Numbers C 020034 ZMQ (L.U. No. 335), an amendment to the Zoning Map and C 020033 MMQ (L.U. No. 336), an amendment to the City Map;
WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(3) of the City Charter;
WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Decision and Application on January 14, 2003;
WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the Negative Declaration issued on November 1, 2001 (CEQR No. 99 DOS004Q); and
WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Decision and Application;

RESOLVED:
The Council finds that the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment.
Pursuant to Section 197-d of the City Charter and on the basis of the Application and Decision, the Council approves the Decision.
