Hollander & Company Building located at 3 East 57th Street, Manhattan, Designation List No. 347, LP-2124 (L.U. No. 507; 20045001 HKM; N 030552 HKM). Body By Council Members Katz and Felder WHEREAS, the Landmarks Preservation Commission filed with the Council on June 30, 2003 a copy of its designation dated June 17, 2003 (the "Designation"), of the (Former) L.P. Hollander & Company Building located at 3 East 57th Street, Community District 5, Borough of Manhattan, as a landmark and Block 1293, Lot 5, as its landmark site pursuant to Section 3020 of the New York City Charter; WHEREAS, the Designation is subject to review by the Council pursuant to Section 3020 of the City Charter; WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission submitted to the Council on August 20, 2003, its report on the Designation dated August 13, 2003 (the "Report"); WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Designation on September 23, 2003; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Designation; RESOLVED: Pursuant to Section 3020 of the City Charter, and on the basis of the information and materials contained in the Designation and the Report, the Council affirms the Designation.
