THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 1119 Title Resolution disapproving the acquisition of office space located at 808/810 East 16th Street (Block 6699/Lots 9 and 10), Brooklyn (20005093 PXK; N 000162 PXK; L.U. No. 610). Body By Council Members Eisland and Sabini WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on November 24, 1999 its approval dated November 24, 1999 of the notice of intent to acquire office space submitted pursuant to Section 195 of the New York City Charter by the Department of Citywide Administrative Services, Division of Real Estate Services, for the acquisition of up to 1,800 square feet of office space on the first floor in a building located at 808/810 East 16th Street (Block 6699/Lots 9 and 10), Borough of Brooklyn, for use by Community Board 14 (the AAcquisition@); WHEREAS, the Acquisition is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 195(d) of the City Charter; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Acquisition on December 1, 1999; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Acquisition; RESOLVED: The Council finds that the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment. Pursuant to Section 195 of the City Charter, the Council disapproves the Acquisition. Adopted.
