THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK

RESOLUTION NO. 922

 

Resolution approving a motion to file pursuant to withdrawal respecting an amendment to an Urban Development Action Area Project located at Block 3867/Lot 9 and Block 3867/Lot 8, Brooklyn, pursuant to Section 694 of the General Municipal Law (L.U. No. 426; 20075336 HAK).

WHEREAS, the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development ("HPD") submitted to the Council on March 27, 2007 its request dated March 5, 2007 that the Council take the following actions regarding the following Amended Urban Development Action Area Project (the "Amended Project") located at Block 3867/Lot 9 and Block 3867/Lot 8), Community District 5, Borough of Brooklyn (the "Disposition Area"):

 

                        1.                     Approve the Amended Project as an Urban Development Action Area Project pursuant to Section 694 of the General Municipal Law; and

 

                        2.                     Approve the exemption of the Amended Project from real property taxes pursuant to Section 696 of the General Municipal Law (the "Tax Exemption").

 

                     WHEREAS, the Amended Project is related to Applications Numbers 19975040 HAK (Reso. No. 1965 of 1996; L.U. No. 1097) and 19955095 HAK (Reso. No. 751 of 1995; L.U. No. 369);

 

                       WHEREAS, by submission dated May 31, 2007, the Department of Housing Preservation and Development withdrew the application.

 

RESOLVED:

 

                       The Council approves the motion to file pursuant to withdrawal in accord with Rules 6.40a and 11.80 of the Rules of the Council and Section 2-02(d) of the New York City Rules and Regulations.
