THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 1453 Title Resolution affirming the designation by the Landmarks Preservation Commission of the Croton Aqueduct West 119th Street Gatehouse, located at 432-434 West 119th Street, Manhattan, Designation List No. 312, LP-2051 (L.U. No. 807; 20005373 HKM; N 000517 HKM). Body By Council Members Eisland and Sabini WHEREAS, the Landmarks Preservation Commission filed with the Council on April 11, 2000 a copy of its designation dated March 28, 2000 (the "Designation"), of the Croton Aqueduct West 119th Street Gatehouse, located at 432-434 West 119th Street, (a.k.a. 1191-1195 Amsterdam Avenue), Borough of Manhattan, as a landmark and Block 1962, Lot 35, as its landmark site pursuant to Section 3020 of the New York City Charter; WHEREAS, the Designation is subject to review by the Council pursuant to Section 3020 of the City Charter; WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission submitted to the Council on June 5, 2000, its report on the Designation dated May 31, 2000 (the "Report"); WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Designation on June 20, 2000; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Designation; RESOLVED: Pursuant to Section 3020 of the City Charter, and on the basis of the information and materials contained in the Designation and the Report, the Council affirms the Designation. ___________ Page 2 of 2 20005373 HKM (N 000517 HKM) Reso.
