RESOLUTION NO. 945

 

Resolution affirming the designation by the Landmarks Preservation Commission of the exterior of the Jackie Robinson (Colonial Park) Play Center Bath House located at West 145th -West 155th Streets, Bradhurst and Edgecombe Avenues (Block 2052, Lot 1), Designation List No. 390, LP-2238 (L.U. No. 473; 20075411 HKM (N 070438 HKM).

WHEREAS, the Landmarks Preservation Commission filed with the Council on April 23, 2007, a copy of its designation dated April 10, 2007 (the "Designation"), of the exterior of the Jackie Robinson (Colonial Park) Play Center Bath House located at West 145th -West 155th Streets, Bradhurst and Edgecombe Avenues, Community District 10, Borough of Manhattan, as a landmark and Block 2052, Lot 1, as its landmark site pursuant to Section 3020 of the New York City Charter;

 

WHEREAS, the Designation is subject to review by the Council pursuant to Section 3020 of the City Charter;

 

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission submitted to the Council on May 25, 2007 its report on the Designation dated May 23, 2007 (the "Report");

 

WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Designation on June 19, 2007; and

 

WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Designation;

 

RESOLVED:

 

Pursuant to Section 3020 of the City Charter, and on the basis of the information and materials contained in the Designation and the Report, the Council affirms the Designation.
