THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 2095 Title Resolution approving the decision of the City Planning Commission on ULURP No. C 000354 ZMM, a Zoning Map change (L.U. No. 705). Body By Council Members Eisland and Sabini WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on October 9, 2001 its decision dated September 25, 2001 (the "Decision"), on the application submitted by the Department of Sanitation and the Department of Citywide Administrative Services, pursuant to Sections 197-c and 201 of the New York City Charter, for an amendment to the Zoning Map (ULURP No. C 000354 ZMM) (the "Application"); WHEREAS, the Application is related to Applications Number C 010098 MMM (L.U. No. 1207), change to the City Map; C 000353 PCM (L.U. No. 1208), site selection and acquisition of property; and C 000355 ZSM/C 000356 ZSM (L.U. Nos. 1209 and 1210), grant of special permits pursuant to Sections 74-743 and 74-746 of the Zoning Resolution; WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(1) of the City Charter; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Decision and Application on October 24, 2001; WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Decision and Application; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the Negative Declaration, issued on September 20, 2000 (CEQR No. 00DOS005M); RESOLVED: The Council finds that the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment. ________ Page 2 of 2 C 000354 ZMM Reso. No. 2095 (L.U. No. 705) Pursuant to Sections 197-d and 200 of the City Charter and on the basis of the Decision and Application, the Council approves the Decision. The Zoning Resolution of the City of New York, effective as of December 15, 1961, and as subsequently amended, is further amended by changing the Zoning Map, Section No. 8c, changing from an M3-2 District to an M1-5 District property bounded by West 55th Street, Twelfth Avenue, West 57th Street, a line perpendicular to the southerly street line of West 57th Street distant 157 feet easterly from the intersection of the easterly street line of Twelfth Avenue and the southerly street line of West 57th Street, a line midway between West 56th Street and West 57th Street, and a line perpendicular to the northerly street line of West 55th Street distant 300 feet easterly from the intersection of the easterly street line of Twelfth Avenue and the northerly street line of West 55th Street, within the Special Clinton District, as shown on a diagram (for illustrative purposes only) dated April 23, 2001.
