THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 1444 Title Resolution approving the amended petition for a revocable consent for an unenclosed sidewalk café located at 323-A Greenwich Street, Manhattan (20005207 TCM; L.U. No. 782). Body By Council Members Eisland and McCaffrey WHEREAS, the Department of Transportation filed with the Council on May 16, 2000 its approval of the petition of Nonna Restaurant Corporation, d/b/a Roc Restaurant, for a revocable consent to establish, maintain and operate an unenclosed sidewalk cafe located at 323-A Greenwich Street, Borough of Manhattan (the "Petition"), pursuant to Section 20-226 of the New York City Administrative Code (the "Administrative Code"); WHEREAS, the Petition is subject to review by the Council pursuant to Section 20-226(g) of the Administrative Code; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Petition on June 20, 2000; WHEREAS, by testimony at the public hearing, the applicant agreed the sidewalk café would be limited to five tables and ten chairs on the Greenwich Street side of the property; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Petition. RESOLVED: Pursuant to Section 20-226 of the Administrative Code, the Council approves the Petition as amended. Adopted.
