Pursuant to sections 31 and 813 of the New York City Charter, the Committee on Rules, Privileges and Elections, hereby approves the appointment by the Mayor of NICHOLAS ANDREW LAPORTE as a member of the New York City Civil Service Commission to serve for the remainder of a six-year term that commenced on March 22, 2001 and will expire on March 21, 2007.
