RESOLUTION NO. 420

 

Resolution disapproving the petition for a revocable consent for an unenclosed sidewalk café located at 194-23 Northern Boulevard, Queens (20065421 TCQ; L.U. No. 179).

 

By Council Members Katz and Avella

 

WHEREAS, the Department of Consumer Affairs filed with the Council on June 7, 2006 its approval dated June 6, 2006 of the petition of Stremones Corp., d/b/a Gyro World, for a revocable consent to establish, maintain and operate an unenclosed sidewalk café located at 194-23 Northern Boulevard, Community District 11, Borough of Queens (the "Petition"), pursuant to Section 20-226 of the New York City Administrative Code (the "Administrative Code");

 

WHEREAS, the Petition is subject to review by the Council pursuant to Section 20-226(g) of the Administrative Code;

 

WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Petition on June 20, 2006; and

 

WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Petition;

 

RESOLVED:

 

Pursuant to Section 20-226 of the Administrative Code, the Council disapproves the Petition.
