Resolution approving the amended petition for a revocable consent for an unenclosed sidewalk café located at 283 Third Avenue, Manhattan (20005412 TCM; L.U. No. 895).

WHEREAS, the Department of Transportation filed with the Council on September 20, 2000 its approval of the petition of Krinis Restaurant Corp., d/b/a Lyric Diner (the "Applicant"), for a revocable consent to establish, maintain and operate an unenclosed sidewalk café located at 283 Third Avenue, Borough of Manhattan (the "Petition"), pursuant to Section 20-226 of the New York City Administrative Code (the "Administrative Code");
WHEREAS, the Petition is subject to review by the Council pursuant to Section 20-226(g) of the Administrative Code;
WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Petition on October 10, 2000; and
WHEREAS, in testimony pursuant to the public hearing, the applicant agreed to amend its petition to seven (7) tables and fourteen (14) chairs to be located on 22nd street;
WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Petition as amended;
RESOLVED:
Pursuant to Section 20-226 of the Administrative Code, the Council approves the Petition as amended.
