RESOLUTION NO. 1132
Resolution affirming the designation by the Landmarks Preservation Commission of the Henry Seligman Residence located at 30 West 56th Street (aka 30-32 West 56th Street) (Block 1271, Lot 55), Manhattan, Designation List No. 394, LP-2227 (L.U. No. 583; 20085043 HKM (N 080034 HKM).

WHEREAS, the Landmarks Preservation Commission filed with the Council on August 7, 2007, a copy of its designation dated July 24, 2007 (the "Designation"), of the Henry Seligman Residence located at 30 West 56th Street (aka 30-32 West 56th Street), Community District 5, Borough of Manhattan, as a landmark and Block 1271, Lot 55, as its landmark site pursuant to Section 3020 of the New York City Charter;
WHEREAS, the Designation is subject to review by the Council pursuant to Section 3020 of the City Charter;
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission submitted to the Council on September 21, 2007 its report on the Designation dated September 19, 2007 (the "Report");
WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Designation on October 23, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Designation;
RESOLVED:
Pursuant to Section 3020 of the City Charter, and on the basis of the information and materials contained in the Designation and the Report, the Council affirms the Designation.
