WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on April 24, 2000 its decision dated April 18, 2000 (the "Decision") on the application submitted pursuant to Section 197-c of the New York City Charter by the Department of Citywide Administrative Services for the disposition of twenty-three city-owned properties located at 37 Groton Street (Block 5316/Lot 65); Hyland Boulevard, Philip Avenue and Lynch Street (Block 6458/Lots 1, 4, 5, 6, 8, 11, 15 and 17); Chester Avenue (Block 6530/Lot 1); Kingdom Avenue and Stecher Street (Block 6563/Lots 30, 34, 42, 50, 52 and 62); Drumgoole Road West (Block 6827/Lot 23); Drumgoole Road West (Block 6912/Lots 90 and 92); Veterans Road East and Barry Street (Block 7066/Lots 83 and 140); Storer Avenue (Block 7315/Lot 82) and 6256 Amboy Road (Block 7702/Lot 75); Borough of Staten Island (ULURP No. C 000086 PPR) (the "Application");
WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(3) of the City Charter;
WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Decision and Application on May 31, 2000; and
WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Decision and Application;

Pursuant to Section 197-d of the City Charter and on the basis of the Application and the Decision, the Council approves the Decision with the modification that the properties located at: 37 Groton Street (Block 5316/Lot 65); Hyland Boulevard, Philip Avenue and Lynch Street (Block 6458/Lots 1, 4, 5, 6, 8, 11, 15 and 17); Chester Avenue (Block 6530/Lot 1); Kingdom Avenue and Stecher Street (Block 6563/Lots 30, 34, 42, 50, 52 and 62); Drumgoole Road West (Block 6912/Lots 90 and 92); Barry Street (Block 7066/Lot 140); Storer Avenue (Block 7315/Lot 82) and 6256 Amboy Road (Block 7702/Lot 75) are deleted.
