No. 5-BRequiring public information messaging on healthy eating.IntroductionThis bill would require would require that restaurants in New York City display information messaging on healthy eating, including, but not specific to, individuals with diet-related conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, and hypertension. This messaging will include, but not be specific to, the risks of excessive sugar and carbohydrate intake. This information will also be available in covered languages. Any restaurant violating these provisions would be liable for a penalty of not more than $500.
