No. 814; 20005444 HKQ; N 000637 HKQ). Body By Council Members Eisland and Sabini WHEREAS, the Landmarks Preservation Commission filed with the Council on June 12, 2000 a copy of its designation dated May 30, 2000 (the "Designation"), of the Queens Borough Public Library, Poppenhusen Branch located at 121-23 14th Avenue (aka 121-27 14th Avenue and 13-16 College Point Boulevard), Borough of Queens, as a landmark and Block 4042, Lot 113, as its landmark site pursuant to Section 3020 of the New York City Charter; WHEREAS, the Designation is subject to review by the Council pursuant to Section 3020 of the City Charter; WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission submitted to the Council on July 27, 2000, its report on the Designation dated July 26, 2000 (the "Report"); WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Designation on August 21, 2000; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Designation; RESOLVED: Pursuant to Section 3020 of the City Charter, and on the basis of the information and materials contained in the Designation and the Report, the Council affirms the Designation.
