Int 1648-2017 *Rafael L. Espinal, Jr.  Establishing an office of nightlife and a nightlife advisory board.IntroductionThis bill establishes a Nightlife Advisory Board and an Office of Nightlife. The Board will make recommendations regarding New York City laws, rules, regulations and policies to address common issues and trends in the nightlife industry. The Office of Nightlife will serve as a city liaison for nightlife establishments, conducting outreach and providing assistance with the city’s enforcement, licensing, permits or approvals processes. It will also serve as an intermediary between the nightlife industry, residents and city agencies. In addition, it will review information on complaints or violations regarding nightlife establishments, and develop recommendations to address recurring problems or trends, in consultation with all stakeholders.
