Rodriguez Definition of ownership and use of a licensed taxicab.IntroductionThis bill would limit the Taxi and Limousine Commission’s (TLC) authority to revoke medallions in the event of foreclosure, involuntary transfer, or surrender. This bill would repeal the provision requiring that the ratio of the total number of taxicab licenses held by owners of more than one taxicab license and the total number of taxicab license held by the owners of one taxicab license remain the same. This bill would remove many restrictions related to the transferability of taxicab licenses and allow a purchaser to operate a taxicab through a licensed agent for a period not to exceed three years from the transfer date.   Not available Not available
