Resolution affirming the designation by the Landmarks Preservation Commission of the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sunday School and Parsonage located at 334 South 5th Street a.k.a. 324-334 South 5th Street and 306-312 Rodney Street (Tax Map Block 2462, Lot 2),  Borough of Brooklyn, Designation List No. 441, LP-2418 (L.U. No. 431; 20115689 HKK; N 110296 HKK).

WHEREAS, the Landmarks Preservation Commission filed with the Council on April 21, 2011 a copy of its designation dated April 12, 2011 (the "Designation"), of the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sunday School and Parsonage located at 334 South 5th Street a.k.a. 324-334 South 5th Street and 306-312 Rodney Street, Community District 1, Borough of Brooklyn, as a landmark, and  Tax Map Block 2462, Lot 2, as its landmark site pursuant to Section 3020 of the New York City Charter;
 
WHEREAS, the Designation is subject to review by the Council pursuant to Section 3020 of the City Charter;
 
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission submitted to the Council on June 10, 2011, its report on the Designation dated June 7, 2011 (the "Report");
 
WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Designation on July 25, 2011; and
 
WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Designation;
 
RESOLVED:
 
Pursuant to Section 3020 of the City Charter, and on the basis of the information and materials contained in the Designation and the Report, the Council affirms the Designation.
