A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to sales of cooperative apartments.
Be it enacted by the Council as follows:
Section 1. Legislative findings and intent. The Council finds that there is credible anecdotal evidence of instances of housing discrimination and/or barriers to successful applications for purchase of units occurring in certain cooperative apartment buildings in the city of New York.
