A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to improper disposal of recyclable material at one- and two-family dwellings.
 
 
Be it enacted by the Council as follows:
 
Section 1.  Section 16-324 of the administrative code of the city of New York as added by local law 19 of the year 1989, is amended by adding new subdivision c to read as follows:
      c.      Not withstanding any other provision of law, for a violation of this chapter or any rule or regulation promulgated pursuant thereto, to be issued to the owner of a one-or two-family dwelling for the improper disposal of household waste, a minimum of five items of recyclable, non-recyclable or missorted recyclable material must be identified at the site by an enforcement agent to be in the incorrect receptacle.
ยง2.      This local law shall take effect immediately.
