THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK

RESOLUTION NO. 1335

 

Resolution approving the site plan for a new, approximately 515-Seat Early Childhood Center to be located on the grounds of P.S. 94, Bronx at 3530 Kings College Place (Block 3356, Lot 36 in portion), Borough of the Bronx (Non-ULURP No. 20085049 SCX; Preconsidered L.U. No. 704).

                          WHEREAS, the New York City School Construction Authority submitted to the Council on March 13, 2008, a site plan pursuant to Section 1732 of the New York State Public Authorities Law for a New, Approximately 515-Seat Early Childhood Center to be located on the grounds of P.S. 94, Bronx at 3530 Kings College Place (Block 3356, Lot 36 in portion), Community School District No. 10 (the "Site Plan"), Community Board No. 7, Borough of the Bronx;

 

                         WHEREAS, the Site Plan is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 1732 of the New York State Public Authorities Law;

 

                          WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Site Plan on March 20, 2008;

 

                     WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the Negative Declaration issued on February 27, 2008 (SEQR Project Number 08-005); and

 

                           WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Site Plan;

 

RESOLVED:

 

                     The Council finds that the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                  

                           Pursuant to Section 1732 of the Public Authorities Law, the Council approves the Site Plan.
