RESOLUTION NO. 377

 

Resolution affirming the designation by the Landmarks Preservation Commission of the 1 Pendleton Place House located at 1 Pendleton Place, aka 166 Franklin Avenue and 170 Franklin Avenue, (Block 63, Lot 50), Staten Island, Designation List No. 371, LP-2189 (L.U. No. 123; 20065362 HKR (N 060412 HKR).

WHEREAS, the Landmarks Preservation Commission filed with the Council on March 27, 2006, a copy of its designation dated March 14, 2006 (the "Designation"), of the 1 Pendleton Place House located at 1 Pendleton Place, aka 166 Franklin Avenue and 170 Franklin Avenue, Community District 1, Borough of Staten Island, as a landmark and Block 63, Lot 50, as its landmark site pursuant to Section 3020 of the New York City Charter;

 

WHEREAS, the Designation is subject to review by the Council pursuant to Section 3020 of the City Charter;

 

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission submitted to the Council on May 12, 2006 its report on the Designation dated May 10, 2006 (the "Report");

 

WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Designation on June 1, 2006; and

 

WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Designation;

 

RESOLVED:

 

Pursuant to Section 3020 of the City Charter, and on the basis of the information and materials contained in the Designation and the Report, the Council affirms the Designation.
