Body By Council Members Katz and Martinez WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on July 31, 2002 its decision dated July 24, 2002 (the "Decision") on the application submitted pursuant to Section 197-c of the New York City Charter by the Department of Citywide Administrative Services, for the disposition of twenty-one (21) city-owned properties pursuant to zoning, located at 37 Spencer Street (Block 1716/Lot 9); 200 and 230 Spencer Street (Block 1762/Lots 48 and 66); 239, 237 and 235 Skillman Street (Block 1928/Lots 1, 2 and 3); 202 Lexington Avenue (Block 1802/Lot 18); 359 Franklin Avenue (Block 1968/Lot 1); 410-12 Nostrand Avenue (Block 1817/Lot 52); 105 and 91 Madison Street (Block 1988/Lots 45 and 52); Herkimer Street (Block 1860/Lot 166); 108 and 110 Franklin Avenue (Block 1898/Lots 49 and 50); 173, 169 and 165 Skillman Street (Block 1914/Lots 2, 4 and 6); 918 Bedford Avenue (Block 1914/Lot 43); 125 Madison Street (Block 1989/Lot 125); 457 Franklin Avenue (Block 1996/Lot 5) and 571 Classon Avenue (Block 2016/Lot 6), Borough of Brooklyn (ULURP No. C 010302 PPK) (the "Application"); WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(3) of the City Charter; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Decision and Application on September 5, 2002; and _________ Page 2 of 2 C 010302 PPK Res. No. 235) WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Decision and Application; RESOLVED: Pursuant to Section 197-d of the City Charter and on the basis of the Application and the Decision the Council approves the Decision with the following modifications: The properties located at: 1. 239, 237 and 235 Skillman Street (Block 1928/Lots 1, 2 and 3); 2. 173, 169 and 165 Skillman Street (Block 1914/Lots 2, 4 and 6); and 3. 108 and 110 Franklin Avenue (Block 1898/Lots 49 and 50) shall be withheld from public auction until a date no earlier than March 31, 2003.
