RESOLUTION NO. 1221

 

Resolution approving the petition for a revocable consent for an unenclosed sidewalk café located at 22 9th Avenue, Borough of Manhattan (20165650 TCM; L.U. No. 463).

 

By Council Members Greenfield and Richards

 

WHEREAS, the Department of Consumer Affairs filed with the Council on August 15,  2016 its approval dated August 12, 2012 of the petition of 22 Ninth Avenue, LLC, d/b/a Bills Bar & Burger, for a revocable consent to establish, maintain and operate an unenclosed sidewalk café located at 22 9th Avenue, Community District 2, Borough of Manhattan (the "Petition"), pursuant to Section 20-226 of the New York City Administrative Code (the "Administrative Code");

 

WHEREAS, the Petition is subject to review by the Council pursuant to Section 20-226(g) of the Administrative Code;

 

WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Petition on September 7, 2016; and

 

WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Petition;

 

RESOLVED:

 

                     Pursuant to Section 20-226 of the Administrative Code, the Council approves the Petition.
