State Legislation Resolution requesting the New York State Legislature to pass bills introduced by Senator Lanza, S.3596, and Assembly Member Tobacco, A.7496, “AN ACT authorizing the city of New York to reconvey its interests in certain real property accrued April 4, 1984 by in rem tax foreclosure in the borough of Staten Island to Joan Noordzy notwithstanding expiration of the two year period within which applications may be made to the city to release its interest in property thus acquired; Block No. 5659, Lot No. 32, on tax map for the borough of Staten Island”.

                     Whereas, bills have been introduced in the New York State Legislature by Senator Lanza, S.3596, and Assembly Member Tobacco, A.7496, “AN ACT authorizing the city of New York to reconvey its interests in certain real property accrued April 4, 1984 by in rem tax foreclosure in the borough of Staten Island to Joan Noordzy notwithstanding expiration of the two year period within which applications may be made to the city to release its interest in property thus acquired; Block No. 5659, Lot No. 32, on tax map for the borough of Staten Island”; and

                                                                  

Whereas, the enactment of the above State Legislation requires the concurrence of the Council of the City of New York as the local legislative body; now, therefore, be it

 

                     Resolved, that the Council of the City of New York, in accordance with the provisions of Section 2 of Article 9 of the Constitution of the State of New York, does hereby request the New York State Legislature to enact into law the aforesaid pending bills.
